Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your LoveAbility account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to make a request and what happens next.

Request deletion

Enter the email address tied to your LoveAbility account. We will send a one-time confirmation link so only you can complete the request.

Lost access to that email?

If you can no longer sign in to the email on your account, tell us what you can remember and our team will help.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open LoveAbility and sign in to your account.
2. Go to your Profile, then open Settings.
3. Open Health Data & Privacy.
4. Tap Request account deletion and confirm.

What we delete

• Your account and login credentials.
• Your profile, avatar, and uploaded photos.
• Health and condition information, including physical and mental-health conditions and match preferences.
• Your posts, comments, reactions, and tags.
• Your connections, matches, and private messages.
• Your accessibility and notification preferences.

What we may keep, and for how long

We may retain a limited record of your deletion request and certain information where the law requires it, or where necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or resolving disputes. This can include records needed to comply with legal obligations or to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

• Your account is deactivated when you confirm the request. Our team completes deletion within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 30 days.
• Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten.
• Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot be linked back to you may be kept for analytics and product improvement.
